Job Description

Travelience is hiring a Customer Service Staff member to support the GoWithGuide tourism marketplace platform. This role handles communications with international tourists and tour guides via email and chat in both English and Japanese.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries from international tourists and tour guides via email and chat
  • Conduct English-language interviews with global tour guides
  • Quality-check tour listings on the platform

Requirements:

  • Business-level Japanese (JLPT N2 equivalent)
  • English proficiency (TOEIC 900+)
  • Strong written communication skills

Preferred:

  • Customer service experience
  • Passion for hospitality

Salary: Starting at ¥200,000/month

Work Details:

  • 8 hours daily, 5 days weekly
  • Flexible start times (8 AM or 9 AM)
  • Schedule options: 4 weekdays + 1 weekend day, or 3 weekdays + full weekend
  • 6-month trial period with potential conversion to permanent staff
  • Annual in-person meetings in Tokyo
